2025 Ford F-150 problems

Verdict · NHTSA data

Worth extra scrutiny

The 2025 Ford F-150 is a recall-heavy year with an otherwise ordinary complaint record: 12 NHTSA recall campaigns apply, yet its 161 owner complaints run below the F-150 median. The recalls matter more than the complaint count here — verify every campaign was completed before buying.

No single system dominates the record — complaints spread across driver assistance (40), transmission (23), and electrical system (22), which usually points to general build quality rather than one defect.
