Defect
Alliance RV, LLC is recalling certain 2021-2023 Paradigm and Valor fifth wheel trailers. A wire connector from the solar panel ports to the solar charge lines may loosen.
Consequence
A loose solar panel electrical connection could overheat, increasing the risk of a fire.
Remedy
Dealers will replace the existing wire nut with a new connector, free of charge. Owner notification letters were mailed November 15, 2023. Owners may contact Alliance customer service at 1-574-218-7165.

“Solar panel fuse melted and caused significant electrical issues, caused the inverter to back flow and caused further damage to the inverter which wiring caught fire. See photo. Bought the RV used in 11/2023 from a used RV dealership. Dealership assured us RV passed inspection and no recalls found.…”
