Defect
ON THE INVOLVED VEHICLES, THE COTTER PIN MAY HAVE BEEN OMITTED AND THE RETAINING NUT IMPROPERLY SECURED. CONSEQUENTLY, THE STEERING LINKAGE COULD DETACH FROM THE PITMAN ARM.
Remedy
THE DEALER WILL TIGHTEN THE ATTACHING NUT TO SPECIFICATIONS AND INSTALL A COTTER PIN, WITHOUT CHARGE TO OWNER.
