2024 Ford Transit problems

Verdict · NHTSA data

Worth extra scrutiny

The 2024 Ford Transit is a recall-heavy year with an otherwise ordinary complaint record: 10 NHTSA recall campaigns apply, yet its 35 owner complaints run below the Transit median. The recalls matter more than the complaint count here — verify every campaign was completed before buying.

No single system dominates the record — complaints spread across tires & wheels (7), body & structure (6), and transmission (3), which usually points to general build quality rather than one defect.
