Forest River, Inc. (Forest River) is recalling certain 2024-2026 Wildwood, Salem and 2026 Stealth EVO travel trailers. The fireplace outlet may have the incorrect wiring.

Consequence

The incorrect wiring may not make adequate contact, increasing the amperage and risk of a fire.

Remedy

Dealers will replace the wiring and outlet, free of charge. Owner notification letters were mailed June 29, 2026. Owners may contact Forest River customer service at 1-503-831-5410.

Forest River, Inc. (Forest River) is recalling certain 2025 Stealth EVO, RPOD, 2025-2026 Wildwood, and Salem recreational trailers. The tire information label may list the incorrect tire inflation information.

Consequence

A tire can be overinflated after referencing the incorrect information, increasing the risk of a crash.

Remedy

Dealers will replace the label, free of charge. Owner notification letters were mailed October 29, 2025. Owners of Salem, Wildwood, and Stealth EVO may contact Forest River customer service at 1-503-831-5410. Owner of RPOD may contact Forest River customer service at 1-574-642-3112. Defect

Forest River, Inc. (Forest River) is recalling certain 2025-2026 Forest River Aurora, Coachmen Catalina, 2026 Coachmen Viking, Coachmen Clipper, 2016-2026 Wildwood, and Salem recreational trailers. The distribution panel wire may be connected to the battery without over current protection.

Consequence

Unprotected wiring can increase the risk of a fire.

Remedy

Dealers will relocate the distribution panel wire to the correct side of the breaker, free of charge. Owner notification letters were mailed November 18, 2025. Owners may contact Forest River customer service at 1-574-825-4995. Forest River's number for this recall is 205-1987.

Forest River, Inc. (Forest River) is recalling certain 2025-2026 Wildwood and Salem travel trailer recreational trailers. The exterior transit latch on the rear patio door cannot be unlocked from inside the vehicle.

Consequence

A door that remains locked can prevent or delay occupants from evacuating during an emergency, increasing the risk of injury.

Remedy

(Forest River) is recalling certain 2024-2025 Coachmen Catalina, Forest River Aurora, Cascade, Cedar Creek, Cherokee, Sandpiper, Sierra, 2025 Campsite Reserve, Impression, Pause, Puma, Sabre, Salem, Vengeance, and Wildwood fifth wheel and travel trailers, equipped with a removable step assembly. The clip-on bracket mounting bolts may come loose, allowing the steps to detach.

Consequence

Steps that detach while in use increase the risk of injury.

Remedy

Dealers will inspect and repair or replace the clip-on bracket as necessary, free of charge. Owner notification letters were mailed April 28, 2025. The slide out mechanism is not strong enough to pull the slide out into the trailer itself for transport. This must be manually done, underneath the trailer, with a crescent wrench, even after extensive troubleshooting. The slide out does not operate independently, even when all cargo is removed.
