Defect

Forest River, Inc. (Forest River) is recalling certain 2023-2026 Forest River Work and Play, 2024-2026 East to West Takoda, Coachmen Chaparral, 2025-2026 Shasta Phoenix, 2023-2025 Forest River Riverstone, 2022-2026 Coachmen Adrenaline, and 2025 Forest River Cedar Creek fifth wheel travel trailers. The ramp door may break away from the door frame while loading or unloading vehicles.

Consequence

A ramp door that breaks during use increases the risk of injury.

Remedy

Dealers will install additional support brackets, free of charge. Owner notification letters were mailed February 18, 2026. Owners may contact Coachmen Adrenaline & Work and Play customer service at 1-574-825-6302, Riverstone customer service at 1-260-593-4028, East to West Takoda customer service at 1-574-264-6664, Cedar Creek customer service at 1-260-593-4000, Coachmen Chapparal and Shasta Pheonix customer service at 1-574-825-7101. Defect

Forest River, Inc. (Forest River) is recalling certain 2018-2024 Coachmen Adrenaline and 2020-2024 Work and Play fifth wheels and travel trailers. The side marker lights may not reflect light as intended, which can make it difficult for other drivers to see the trailer. As such, these vehicles fail to comply with the requirements of Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standard number 108, "Lamps, Reflective Devices, and Associated Equipment."

Consequence

Non-reflective side marker lights can reduce the trailer's visibility to other drivers, increasing the risk of a crash.

Remedy

Dealers will install reflector stickers, free of charge. Owner notification letters were mailed December 5, 2023. Owners may contact Forest River Customer Service at 1-574-825-6302. Forest River's number for this recall is 320-1697.
