Defect

VEHICLE DESCRIPTION: HEAVY DUTY TRUCKS EQUIPPED WITH HYDRAULIC BRAKES. THE HYDRAULIC BRAKE TUBE TO THE FRONT LEFT BRAKE CAN CONTACT THE BOTTOM FRAME RAIL FLANGE.

Consequence

THIS CONDITION COULD RESULT IN A LOSS OF BRAKE FLUID, INCREASING THE RISK OF A CRASH.

Remedy

DEALERS WILL REPLACE THE BRAKE TUBE WITH ONE THAT PROVIDES CLEARANCE TO THE FRAME RAIL.
