Defect

INCORRECT SIZE EAR TYPE CLAMPS WERE USED TO SECURE NYLON GASOLINE LINES TO BARBED CONNECTOR FITTINGS.

Consequence

GASOLINE LINES UNDER PRESSURE FROM FUEL PUMP COULD LEAK;IN THE PRESENCE OF A SOURCE OF IGNITION, FUEL LEAK COULD RESULT IN A FIRE.

Remedy

INSTALL PROPER SIZE EAR TYPE CLAMPS.
