International Motors, LLC (International) is recalling certain 2026 IC Bus CECB buses. The retractors may not lock, preventing the wheelchair from being properly secured.

Consequence

An unsecured wheelchair can move during transit, increasing the risk of injury.

Remedy

Dealers will inspect and replace the retractors as necessary, free of charge. Owner notification letters were mailed February 16, 2026. Owners may contact International's customer service at 1-800-448-7825. International's number for this recall is 25527. Vehicle Identification Numbers (VINs) involved in this recall will be searchable on NHTSA.gov beginning February 9, 2026.

Defect

International Motors, LLC (International) is recalling certain 2026 IC Bus CECB commercial buses. The weld on the crank shaft assembly may fail, preventing the the left-side wiper from working.

Consequence

An inoperative wiper can reduce the driver's ability to see out of the windshield, increasing the risk of a crash.

Remedy

Dealers will inspect and replace the windshield wiper module, free of charge. Owner notification letters were mailed October 27, 2025. Owners may contact International customer service at 1-800-448-7825. International's number for this recall is 25516. Vehicle Identification Numbers (VINs) involved in this recall became searchable on NHTSA.gov on November 17, 2025.

International Motors, LLC (International) is recalling certain 2025-2026 IC Bus CECB commercial buses. A tire may contact and damage the air dryer discharge line, causing an air leak and the unintentional activation of the parking brake.

Consequence

Unintended activation of the parking brake while driving increases the risk of a crash.

Remedy

Dealers will inspect, replace, and reroute the lines as necessary, free of charge. Owner notification letters were mailed November 17, 2025. Owners may contact International customer service at 1-800-448-7825. International's number for this recall is 25518.
