THE PARKING BRAKE RELEASE CABLE MAY BIND IF IT IS TOO CLOSE TO THE EXHAUST MANIFOLD. ALSO, THE OIL HOSE MAY CONTACT THE BRAKE PUMP BRACKET AND EVENTUALLY CAUSE OIL TO LEAK FROM THE HYDRO-MAX SYSTEM.

Consequence

THIS COULD CAUSE THE PARKING BRAKE TO BE INOPERATIVE, WHICH COULD ALLOW THE TRUCK TO ROLL AND COULD RESULT IN AN ACCIDENT.

Remedy

REPLACE AND REROUTE CABLE TO PREVENT BINDING. ALSO INSPECT AND REPLACE DAMAGED HOSE.

Remedy

REPLACE PARK BRAKE ACTUATOR LEVER WITH LEVER OF HEAVIER DUTY DESIGN.

IF OPERATED IN REVERSE WITH WHEEL TURNED TIGHTLY RIGHT,THE TIP OF METAL SUPPORT MAY DAMAGE INSIDE SIDE WALL OF LEFT FRONT TIRE.

Remedy

REMOVE INTERFERING SUPPROT AND INSTALL NEW SUPPORT THAT CANNOT CONTACT THE TIRE.
