Mitsubishi Fuso Truck of America, Inc. (MFTA) is recalling certain 2024 Rizon FEC7K (E16), FEC9K (E18), and 2025 FECXK (E18) trucks. While idling, the electrical control unit may transmit an error that prevents the truck from being driven.

Consequence

A vehicle that is unable to move as needed, increasing the risk of a crash.

Remedy

Dealers will reprogram battery management system and DC-Box software, free of charge. Owner notification letters were mailed March 30, 2026. Owners may contact MFTA customer service at 1-877-711-0707. MFTA's number for this recall is C10136. Mitsubishi Fuso Truck of America, Inc. (MFTA) is recalling certain 2024 Rizon FEC7K (E16), FEC9K (E18), and 2025 FECXK (E18) trucks. The electric parking brake (EPB) actuator may use a spacer that is too big, resulting in excessive friction and overheated brake components.

Consequence

Overheated brake components can result in a fire.

Remedy

MFTA will replace the EPB actuator. In addition, the brake assembly will be inspected for brake dragging, and replaced as necessary. All repairs will be performed free of charge. Mitsubishi Fuso Truck of America, Inc. (MFTA) is recalling certain 2024 Rizon FEC7K and FEC9K trucks equipped with turn signals integrated into the Koito headlights. The bulb socket may be defective, causing the front turn signals to burn out.

Consequence

Inoperative turn signals cannot show the driver's intentions to other road users, increasing the risk of a crash.

Remedy

A loss of drive power increases the risk of a crash.

Remedy

A loss of drive power can increase the risk of a crash.

Remedy
