Defect

A GAP BETWEEN THE MASTER CYLINDER AND REMOTE BRAKE FLUID RESERVOIR ADAPTER IS CAUSED BY AN OUT-OF-SPECIFICATION CONDITION IN THE ADAPTER, RESULTING IN HYDRAULIC FLUID LOSS DURING BRAKE APPLICATION.

Consequence

BRAKE FLUID LOSS RESULTS IN LOSS OF PRESSURE, CAUSINGPARTIAL LOSS OF BRAKING ABILITY.

Remedy

REPLACE THE OUT-OF-SPECIFICATION ADAPTERS.
