2024 Ram 2500 problems

Verdict · NHTSA data

A typical year for this model

The 2024 Ram 2500 is a recall-heavy year with an otherwise ordinary complaint record: 5 NHTSA recall campaigns apply, yet its 76 owner complaints run below the 2500 median. The recalls matter more than the complaint count here — verify every campaign was completed before buying. Complainants reported 12 injuries in total across these filings.

No single system dominates the record — complaints spread across brakes (13), driver assistance (11), and electrical system (11), which usually points to general build quality rather than one defect.
