Defect

Temsa Global Sanayi Ve Ticaret A.S. (Temsa) is recalling certain model year 2008-2016 TS35C buses manufactured July 21, 2008, to December 12, 2015. In the affected vehicles, the steering gearbox bracket fastener may loosen.

Consequence

If the bracket fasterner loosens it can cause loss of vehicle control, increasing the risk of a crash.

Remedy

Temsa will notify owners, and dealers will replace the fastener bolts, free of charge. The recall began on February 4, 2016. Owners may contact Temsa customer service at 1-404-602-0151.

Defect

Temsa Global Sanayi Ve Ticaret A.S. (Temsa) is recalling certain model year 2012-2014 TS30 motorcoaches and 2007-2014 TS35C motorcoaches. The emergency roof labels do not have adequate instructions for exiting the bus in the event of an emergency. As such, these vehicles fail to comply with the requirements of Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standard No. 217, "Bus Emergency Exits and Window Retention and Release."

Consequence

In the event of an emergency, passengers may spend extra time trying to get the roof exit open, increasing the risk of injury.

Remedy

Temsa will notify owners, and dealers will replace the emergency exit labels on the roof exit, free of charge. The recall began on September 4, 2014. Owners may contact CH Bus Sales, US Agent for Temsa, at 1-877-858-3672.

Defect

Temsa Global is recalling certain model year 2007-2013 TS35C and model year 2012-2013 TS30 coach buses. The label indicating the nearest emergency exit window release mechanism may be missing. Thus, these buses fail to conform with Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standard No. 217, "Bus Emergency Exits and Window Retention and Release."

Consequence

Without a label to identify the closest release mechanism, in the case of an emergency, passengers may spend extra time to find the location of an exit window release mechanism, increasing the risk of injury.

Remedy

Temsa Global will notify owners and have any missing labels installed. The recall began on September 2, 2013. Owners may contact CH Bus Sales at 1-407-271-8935.
