Defect

PLASTIC HOOD INSULATION CLIP(S) WAS(WERE) INADVERTENTLY DROPPED INTO THE HOSE BETWEEN THE CHARGE AIR COOLER AND THE THROTTLE HOUSING WHICH CAN INTERFERE WITH THE THROTTLE OPERATION.

Consequence

IF A PLASTIC CLIP MOVES TOWARD THE THROTTLE HOUSING ITCAN BECOME LODGED THERE AND PREVENT THE THROTTLE FROM RETURNING TO IDLE. LOSS OFTHROTTLE CONTROL CAN RESULT IN AN ACCIDENT.

Remedy

CHECK FOR INSULATION CLIPS IN THE HOSE BETWEEN THE CHARGE AIR COOLER AND THE THROTTLE HOUSING, AND REMOVE IF FOUND.
