Autocar, LLC (Autocar) is recalling certain 2025-2026 ACX (Xpeditor) vehicles. The winter front cover may interfere with the forward collision warning (FCW) system.

Consequence

Interference may cause the FCW system to fail, increasing the risk of a crash.

Remedy

Autocar will replace the cover, free of charge. Owner notification letters were mailed May 29, 2026. Owners may contact Autocar customer service at 1-888-218-3611. Autocar's number for this recall is ACX-2602.

Defect

Autocar, LLC (Autocar) is recalling certain 2023-2026 ACX (Xpeditor) vehicles. Contact with the drive line yoke may damage the Electronic Stability Control (ESC) unit.

Consequence

A damaged ESC unit may malfunction, disabling the electronic stability control and increasing the risk of a crash.

Remedy

Autocar will relocate the ESC unit, free of charge. Interim owner notification letters explaining the safety risk were be mailed March 27, 2026. Another notice will be sent once the remedy is available, anticipated May 2026. Owners may contact Autocar customer service at 1-888-218-3611. Autocar's number for this recall is ACX-2601.

Defect

Autocar, LLC (Autocar) is recalling certain 2025-2026 ACX (Xpeditor) vehicles. The Automatic Emergency Braking (AEB) system may unexpectedly turn off when the vehicle turns.

Consequence

The loss of AEB increases the risk of a crash.

Remedy

Autocar will update the AEB software, free of charge. Owner notification letters were mailed December 18, 2025. Owners may contact Autocar customer service at 1-888-218-3611. Autocar's numbers for this recall are ACX-2506.

Defect

Autocar, LLC (Autocar) is recalling certain 2024-2026 ACX (Xpeditor) and DC (Legend) vehicles. The tie rod clamp may have been improperly secured.

Consequence

The tie rod clamp can separate from the vehicle, resulting in a loss of steering control and increasing the risk of a crash.

Remedy

Autocar will inspect and secure or repair the tie rod clamp as necessary, free of charge. Owner notification letters were mailed December 5, 2025. Owners may contact Autocar customer service at 1-888-218-3611. Autocar's numbers for this recall are ACX-2505 and DC-2507.

Autocar, LLC (Autocar) is recalling certain 2023-2026 ACX (Xpeditor) and DC (Legend) vehicles. The steering wheel nut may be improperly secured, allowing the steering wheel to separate from the steering column.

Consequence

A steering wheel separation may result in a loss of steering control, increasing the risk of a crash.

Remedy
