THESE VEHICLES WERE ASSEMBLED WITH THE LEFT-HAND LOWER CONTROL ARM-TO-FRAME REAR NUT NOT TIGHTENED TO THE SPECIFIED TORQUE.

Consequence

LOW TORQUE CAN ALLOW THE ATTACHMENT BOLT TO LOOSEN AND SUBSEQUENTLY FATIGUE AND BREAK. THIS CAN RESULT IN SEPARATION OF THE LEFT-HAND CONTROL ARM FROM THE FRAME INCREASING THE POTENTIAL FOR A VEHICLE ACCIDENT.

Remedy

DEALERS WILL TIGHTEN THE LEFT-HAND LOWER CONTROL ARM-TO- FRAME REAR NUT TO THE PROPER TORQUE SPECIFICATION.
